Hi Auntie Sophie,
well we've had quite a busy week this week.
mummy and daddy met Kate the midwife on Monday and got to hear our heartbeats, they sound like trains in tunnels according to mummy.
Kate asked loads of questions about mummy and daddy and then took some of mummy's blood.
Mummy got a big folder with lots of books and tips for free stuff in it, daddy got a little card with a website on it so he can talk to other daddies.
On Wednesday we had our pictures taken on the inside, very cool. and maybe jumped ahead a bit with a mini blog entry!
so not much else has happened for us this week, mummys tum is getting bigger. Daddy says she still looks like her from behind then turns around and 'Hello!' there we all are.
so here's a picture of our outside, again in the bathroom doorway, mummy thinks thats going to have to be the standard meaasurement in the house now, daddy shouts all the left a bit right a bits from the stairs so she gets the camera in the right place.
will write again soon
lots of love from

Say Cheeeeeese!
Woo Hoo!!
check us out.
we've just had our picture taken, we've been on the telly and everything!
mummy and daddy are very pleased, as were all the other people in the room with them. we don't know who they are, but mummy and daddy said they were sonographers and nurses and that they're ok.
And the nurses and sonographer said it was a perfect twin image.
the lady who was fliming us was about to stop the machine and then went back for another look just in case, she said Lil Sophie isn't there, but there was a lady today who was having a 20 week scan and they found one more than there was at her 12 week scan... she's got 3!!! we think that's where Sophie might have gone instead.
Twin 1 - I'm the little one on the bottom bunk, my head is bottom left and I'm facing up, my body and legs go to the right. My placenta is at the back, mummy isn't going to appreciate this in the long run. I am measuring 79 mm today. and I have Twin 2's bum right in my face! There's not loads of space for me, but I can get a good kick at Twin 2.
Twin 2 - I'm the big one on the top bunk with my head sort of top middle of the scan facing up and my bum on top of Twin 1's face! My placenta is at the front which is some of what is making mummy's tummy stick out, she does like this. Today I am 82mm. I've got plenty of space up here to move around and I like to have a little dance about when the camera is on.
As well as having our own rooms and a placenta each, we've both got 2 arms, 2 hands, 2 legs and 2 feet, so thats good news too. mummy and daddy are a bit worried as they could see our mouths moving, a lot. they have said already we're a couple of chatter boxes. And they said they've definitely got the right ones, apparently mummy and daddy can tell by the size of our noses, which they hope we'll grow into!!
only about another 5 and a bit weeks until we do this again. mummy says she'll take another picture of the outside on Friday so we can compare all the way through.
lots of love

Week 13
Hi Auntie Sophie,
well, we have most certainly made our prescence known this week.
we are a couple of peaches now, not very big ones but it's step up from being a couple of plums, hooray!
none of mummy's trousers and jeans fit and they are all in the loft waiting, she says, to get back into next winter.
its daddy's birthday tomorrow, so mummy is in the middle of making him the amazing cake Pat made for you last week. she's currently on the second go of the sponge after turning the first effort into mush! Daddy and Rob have eaten the mush.
we thought we were having our pictures taken again on monday, but we got a letter today to say it won't be until Wednesday now, boo! mummy and daddy have to still go and see the madwife on monday evening so she can measure us and hopefully not poke mummy's belly too hard, it makes us jump! then on wednesay it's picture time and blood tests for mummy. this picture is to find out if either of us are wierdos or not. mummy and daddy say they don't mind, but they'll need to know as they like to have things nice and organised, just in case, they can have 2 copies of our picture for £5, we think they'll buy a few more if we have some good ones.
so, just to keep you going, here is a picture of how we look today... pretty much a picture a week

mummy had to take it herself as daddy is watching a mountain biking film with Robin. Jess cat came up to help, she sat in the bathroom sink!
mummy said she likes wearing this top because the stripes make or bump look lovely. Oh and she's happier now as she has some rather smashing maternity jeans from H&M which she says she absolutely loves and wishes she'd always worn maternity jeans!
we're looking forward to being able to see you on the skype telly in the summer, mummy reckons that whatever time we're awake will most likley be a better time for you than it will her, but she says she doesn't mind.
Sammy and Enzo are coming over to play tomorrow, we're all going for a walk in the woods and then back for mugs of tea and cake. yum.
we'll drop you some more pictures next week, maybe we'll find lil sophie??!
happy sunshine

the first bit up to week 12
Hey Auntie Sophie!
we hope you had a good trip out to NZ and that there weren't too many more tears.
a quick recap...
you know how we got here, lots of fingers crossed, loads of hormone madness, too many injections to count up, more scans than your luggage got on its trip out, and plenty of wishing on stars.
so, we thank you for the crossed fingers and star wishing, even if it means your beloved team had a few bad days as your wishes were otherwise occupied!!
You have watched week by week as we've made our snuggly homes in here, and made all mummy's clothes too small! She's quite cross about all the trousers but daddy says he loves 2 of the obvious increases, we think he means us, but as we're still only the size of large plums, we can't possibly know any different!
we've got seperate rooms! so there isn't any fighting, yet. we'll try not to be too wriggly as pretty soon there isn't going to be a whole lot of space in here, especially if mummy has any more puddings at lunch time!! we've had a bit of a look and can't find Lil Sophie, but if we do, we'll be sure to let you know as soon as we see her.
quick stats..
current size, this week we've gone from limes to large plums
age - 12 weeks
mummy's middle - 42 inches (she's having a bit of a cry right now!!)
we're having our pictures taken again soon, so we will be able to show you what we look like a bit better than just a big tum! but to keep you going until then, todays picture of us all together is below.
lots of love

P.S. sorry about stuffing up the adoption!
